Summer Camps offer so much more than a simple break away from home for kids.
For many, camp is safe place where they won't be bullied, or looked down on simply because their families don't have the resources as many others. It's a place where they can open up to counsellors about their worries and fears, often discovering they're not alone in their struggles.
In some cases, like at our summer camps in Ukraine, they can be a place where kids process trauma and loss caused by the war with trained staff.
